Release of Rodney's Tunnel

Post by kjolt »

My mod for the Rovgend's Labyrinth modding competition

Guide to setting up:
1. Go here and download the latest version of Rovgend's Labyrinth (currently v0.45: https://cflip.net/games/rovgends/
2. Drag the attached files into the base game's folder. Make sure that rovg_v044 isn't a folder within a folder.
3. Drag rodneys.rpk onto Rovgend.exe. The game should run just fine.

There is potential for updates but it is considered finished in its current state. I may even make a wiki or something WHO KNOWS

very good mod. It has a nice balance of polish vs length. No region feels like filler. Also it has many banger music tracks. Sadly none of its bosses feel like they could be defeated by melee weapons and many enemies (hillers and ash babies) either have ambiguous death animations or none at all.
Overall 8/10

I enjoyed this mod very much. The variety of levels and the fantastic sountrack give it a sense of adventure and I liked all the in-joke references throughout. There were plenty of fun enemy designs too, my personal favourite being the box of snakes. My only complaints are that some of the common enemies feel like they have a bit too much health, plus the notes mentioned by bcfoss above.
